I believe I can fly!

I was always fascinated with Superman when I was a kid especially with his ability to fly. I still don't understand the need for the cape. Does it help him fly? Was it just because it looked cool flapping in the wind? Wasn't he worried about getting it caught in stuff from time to time? Was it made of breathable material? Who exactly picked the colors? Did he ever wonder if it made him look fat?

Like most kids I tied on a cape (really an old towel) and dutifully jumped off the garage. Luckily I didn't break anything but more disappointing than that was that I didn't fly not even one iota. What a bummer.

To see the birds fly so effortlessly as they soar high above just makes me long for the day when we will fly through the sky when we are raptured at the coming of Jesus Christ!

From the two inch tall Bee Hummingbird, the smallest bird in the world to the Condor with a wing span of nine and a half feet across birds are fascinating and beautiful. There are over 10,000 species of birds!

In Matthew 6:26 Jesus says,
"Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?"

I know that since God takes care of the birds he will also take care of me and my family even if I can't fly with or without a cape!

You know I also wonder just who it was that told Superman that he would look good flying around in blue tights and flaming red underwear? Not to mention the boots!

I always wondered what that locked black trunk was in your office closet. I would rather you be bat man though, so I can use your bat car. HaHa

So the cat is finally out of the bag! I always knew there was something more than meets the eye about Pastor Dan. There just had to be a reason why he'd been blessed with super strength and x-ray vision.

I love that scripture Matt. 6:26. Did you know the Gospel Hymn theme for His Eye Is On The Sparrow is inspired by the words of Jesus in the gospel of Matthew in the bible?

Verse 1
Why should I feel discouraged, why should shadows come, why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home, When Jesus is my portion? my constant friend is He: His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

refrain
I sing because I'm happy, I sing because I'm free, For his eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.

verse 2
"Let not your heart be troubled, "His tender word I hear, and resting on his goodness, I lose my doubts and fears; though by the path He leadeth, but one step I see; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know he watches me.

verse 3
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise, when songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies, I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free. His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. Yes, His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.

So no matter what trial or temptation you may be facing right now you can be sure that God already knows all about it and if you'll have FAITH that indeed "His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. Give it to God and leave it in His care. replace your doubts and fear for His perfect peace about the situation.

I happen to know that after a discussion with Pastor Dan that he can fly in his dreams. I am not sure if he wears the tights and red cape. He is also Captain Kirk and Bruce Lee (the Green Hornet)in his dreams. What a fearless leader! The Bible does say; "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions." Joel 2:28
Perhaps when we rapture out, we will see Pastor Dan fly and some excellent karate kicks! I'll bet he does this when he is fighting for us in the Spirit. You go Pastor Dan!

I don't understand what the current e-devo picture is and what is it's significance?

In all seriousness, I'd like to add my two cents to yesterdays blog. Pastor Dan is indeed a fearless leader. Not just in his dreams and imagination but here on Earth in the flesh in everyday life. I thank God for the leader that he is and that he is Faith Assemblies shepherd fighting back the wolves.
