Our atmosphere was created on the second day of creation. It is made up of five different layers. Let's look at just two, the exosphere and the mesosphere.
The exosphere protects life on earth from damaging solar winds, and by absorbing ultraviolet solar radiation and reducing temperature extremes between day and night. The mesosphere is where most meteors burn up when entering the atmosphere.
Think about that. Before God created any lifeforms he made provision for their protection. He created an atmosphere that would protect us and keep us safe.
In the Psalms we are told that the Lord God encamps around his people to keep them safe. If you are in a place where you do not feel safe and secure then remember that the Lord surrounds you with his everlasting love and his protection. He will be your guard. He will keep you in the palm of his hand. Trust Him to keep you in safety.
Our God gave careful thought to every aspect of his creation. Imagine how much thought he gives to you today.

Nice picture of the clouds to go along with the topic. I never gave a second thought to the atmosphere God created on the second day of creation. I am in awe of how wonderfully intricate Gods creation is and how everything has a purpose. Nothing is random or just by accident.
