The Air I Breathe

From Sunday's Message: God turns chaos into order.

The earth's atmosphere is a layer of gases surrounding the planet earth and retained by the earth's gravity. It contains roughly 78.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.038% carbon dioxide, trace amounts of other gases, and a variable amount (average around 1%) of water vapor. This mixture of gases is commonly known as air

We often take God's creation for granted. We hardly give air a second thought unless of course we are swimming and we have to hold our breath.

God designed our world down to the smallest details. The Psalmist wrote in Psalms 19:1-3, "The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their is no speech or language where their voice is not heard."

As you take a breath give praise to the Lord. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!"

The more we learn about our world and about God's creation the more we realize that we on planet earth are indeed unique in the cosmos.

These past couple of sermons about creation has really given me and whole new outlook and appreciation for everything that God created. I almost feel like I was walking around with blurry vision and someone gave me a pair of glasses to put on. For ex. How can one appreciate the air we breathe when you don't really understand it? Thanks Pastor Dan for helping me appreciate the beauty and awesomeness of Gods creation.
