The Power of Persistent Prayer

Good morning!
Taken from Sunday's message: The Power of Persistent Prayer.

It's a political year and every candidate is promising change. I am a firm believer in voting and I intend to vote and make my voice heard.

However, the kind of change that America needs cannot be achieved through a political process no matter how popular. The kind of change we need can only be brought about on our knees in prayer.

Our voices must be heard not so much in the halls of congress or the white house but rather in the court of heaven. Be assured that God hears us when we pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Blessings!
