God speaks through His creation and He also speaks through His Word.
The Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. Holy men of God spoke as they were moved upon by the Holy Spirit and wrote the Bible under His inspiration.
God's Word, the Bible, is life!
Hebrews 4:12 tells us, "For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are."
Go ahead. Open the Bible and take it into your soul. Let God speak to you today through His mighty Word. It is life!

I agree totally. I don't know how people can survive the day without reading God's Word! I do know that the devil does not want us to read it, so he will give us enough to keep us so busy that we feel we don't have time or forget. Want peace in your life and your home? Want God to speak to you? Read His Word!
You hit the nail on the head. Here it is going on noon, I have a million chores to get done, feeling stressed with no peace. This is exactly how the devil wants me to be. I'm going to sit and read Genesis and get my soul prepared for sunday's word. I'm looking forward to it.
